Notes : Conversion kit for Galaxy Ranger.
The most common prototype laserdisk game made, many discs exists for this game but as far as I know there were no ROM images made as it was cancelled before that was done.
Game Notes : Japanese anime in style, it was different from a lot of other games by allowing the choice of different paths to take throughout the game which made it less repetitious and more challenging to the player.

Notes : Graphics by Toeik, the famous Japanese animation house. I am told that the canyon sequence was made by taking a styrofoam disk, burning a channel into it with a blowotrch then running the camera through it.

Motherboard : One very small board (only about 4"x7"), with a large eprom on it (Intel 27C0202 / 256k x 8).

Notes : This game uses hologram display, it's the first Sega game to uses this type of display, which used a TV and a special reflective mirror to give the effect of the characters appearing as holograms, appeared in only one other game called Holloseum before being canned as being basically rubbish.
This did not however stop it from making money, Time Traveller took over 18 Million dollars...
